UNDP Namibia launched the Accelerator Lab with its development partners, the German Embassy and the Qatar Fund for Development on 05 July 2019 at the DoBox at the Franco Cultural Centre (FNCC) in Windhoek.
The UNDP Namibia Resident Representative Ms. Alka Bhatia met with the President of Namibia His Excellency Dr. Hage Geingob as part of her courtesy visits on 07 June 2019 at the State House of Namibia.
Taking the lead to celebrate World Environment Day in Namibia, the United Nations in Namibia, Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the High Commission of India to Namibia gathered in Karasburg.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services, UNDP Namibia and UNICEF Namibia had an Exchange of Notes with the Embassy of Japan in Namibia on 20 February 2019. UNDP and UNICEF received USD 500,000 each from the government of Japan to support the Government of Namibia in strengthening of Health systems in the country.
