The Democratic People's Republic of Korea suffers from chronic natural disasters, such as floods and droughts, resulting to poor access to health services. UNFPA provides life-saving drugs to health facilities for maternal health. As government has not been able to provide these drugs, it relies on UNFPA. Other sexual and reproductive health (SRH) commodities provided by UNFPA include RH kits and dignity kits to affected areas.
