Ghana is among the African countries affected by El Nino and experiences annual flooding in its northern regions. The country also hosts at least 10,000 refugees in 4 camps. UNFPA and partners focus on providing sexual and reproductive health services and protection for women, girls and adolescents, as well as implementing preparedness measures to ensure the country's ability to provide humanitarian assistance during emergencies.
