    For two weeks every year, thousands of activists, government officials, academics and policy makers gather in New York City to take stock of progress on gender equality and chart a new roadmap forward. The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is instrumental in promoting women’s rights, documenting the reality of women’s lives throughout the world and shaping global standards on gender equality and the empowerment of women.

    In this behind-the-scenes look, follow four different CSW participants as they navigate the halls of the United Nations to engage in the Commission.
