Things to do inParis, France

“Had brunch here with my wife and it was one of the best decisions we made. It is a small place, but it is like being invited into someone's home and having them cook a fantastic breakfast for you. The staff was warm and friendly and the food was amazing. It is well worth the visit. The next time I am in Paris, this is on my list as a must.”

“Loved this restaurant and the cozy atmosphere that was a warm haven from the cold winter air in the mornings. It was so close to my hotel (after a short hike up the montmarte stairs) that I went multiple times to start a day of site seeing. The dishes seemed a little pricey at first but it all makes sense when you see that plating and bite into whatever delicious plate you order. Also, order the housemade iced tea!!”

“EVERYTIME is a good time. Tables are close together, but every restaurant is like that. Being from Texas, I was craving a burger when my Fiance found this place during our first Paris visit 2 years ago. We've been twice this week, visiting each location this time. Staff was extremely polite and sociable. Medium cooked patty on request and a pile of fries. The milkshakes were great too. We leave tomorrow, but we'll be back and we will, as usual, make sure to have "Breakfast In America." :)”

“It looks lovely from the outside, however the staff were really rude and obnoxious. It put us off even sitting down.”

“It's OK. Just well cooked egg with pancake. I think it's over rated and it's not cheap. Considered all dishes are eggs and more expensive than an average set lunch in Paris. U may expect a long queue. Service is good but not a must dining venue if you have a tight schedule in the city. However, media seems love this venue!”

“Romantic place Paris..Rendezvous point for lovers..Pont des Arts by the Seine River is so rich in history that visitors hang out for some time and have a feel of the scenery and hang padlocks with their names inscribed in it.”

“Amazingly beautiful, lovely park for all. This huge well maintained park deserves a 5 star ratings. The park is so welcoming with all the beautiful plants and flowers, work of arts, statues and the palace and the huge round fountain is so beautiful. I really enjoyed and appreciate my visit to Jardin du Luxembourg while having lunch at the restaurant inside the park. The food are delicious and the staffs are so nice.Thank you and more power to PARIS Jardin du Luxembourg. Until my next visit. Dani”

“Built on hallow ground, the history of this Church is richer than most and that says alot in this section of Paris. Not only is the Church itself a treasure of historical moments both inside and out, but the surrounding neighborhood is a delightful place to spend the day.”

“Y’all, I cannot rave about this place enough. I’m a Texan living abroad, and though we don’t miss much, Texas BBQ is one of the things we miss dearly. The Dallas Pecan Lodge alum, Jeff, does a very well articulated set of BBQ with seasonal offerings for sides. I wasn’t too disappointed there were no beans. After all, in Paris I’d expect nothing less. You could smell the place down the street, and my mouth was watering before I ever walked in. The ribs had an amazingly tasty crust and fell right off the bone the I stand you picked them up, the brisket was just the right amount of fatty and tender and succulent, and the pulled pork was divine. The Potato salad had bits of meat inside which was an unexpected, but nice touch. Everyone in the place was welcoming and took the time to understand my excitement even though we were in the lunch rush. The pit master himself even obliged a conversation and a photo op after the rush was over. We’ll see y’all the next time we’re in town!”

“What an amazing pair! We absolutely enjoyed the food. We were passing through Paris and had made a reservation on the wrong day! Fortunately for us, they were so nice as to accommodate to our mistake and we were taken on as walk-ins. The food was perfect. We have no words to describe it. Excellent wine pairing and perfect ambience. From where we were seated, Chef Sebastian made it look so easy, serving up delicious, modern and hearty food. The place was cosy with no more than 10 tables but it didn’t lack flare or flavour. It felt like a private dining experience with Chef Sebastian serving up dishes in his home and we were all intimate guests. We are definitely coming back on our next stop in Paris! Thanks again!”

“Amazing from the moment the door opened to when we left.I had Pottoka on the must do list when planning our trip months ago. To get a table on the last night of our trip to Paris was special but the level of service and food did not exceed expectations it smashed them. We had the 6 Course Degustation dinner and at the end asked for a menu signed as a souvenir. Printing a special one for us in both French and English was beautiful. Thank you so much and we will be back ... soon I hope.”

“Bonjour. Merci.”

“I am so glad that a cat café exists. This one was very cute. We just had coffee, which was tasty. Only reason I picked 4 stars instead of 5 was because ambience wasn't ideal. Many other customers were overly excited, following the cats around the café instead of waiting for cats to come to them. When a cat came up to me, I didnt have a chance to pet it because so many people walked over taking pictures that the poor thing got scared off.”

“Lovely place! Great coffee and amazing cakes (lemon cake it's just perfect). Fantastic people, so far one of the favorite coffee shops in Paris.”

“I loved the coffee and the carrot cake, although I am aware of this place being not a French authentic or whatever people might not liking about this place. I liked the atmosphere and the service as well, so totally recommended for an afternoon break in Paris.”

“Couldn't get a good coffee in Paris, then we came across this place. It has a lot of atmosphere, is easy-going, friendly, and just great to hang out in. The staff were lovely and the coffee was absolutely delicious. Best coffee in Paris. We went there almost every day and next time we're in Paris we'll certainly be back.”

“Fantastic space to learn about the History of Judaism, with arts and exhibitions very appealing to the senses, very generous - all free of charge. I had a great time there.”

“Splendid guided tour; this is where you bring your kids to have a lovely afternoon. The guide keeps everyone busy on the merry-go-round and other activities and wonderments, and you’ll all learn a bit as well. Excellent place.”

“Picasso’s “Guernica” is one of the really great masterpieces of the twentieth century. This masterpiece is in Spain where Picasso wanted it to be. It’s in the Musée Reina Sophia in Madrid. In its early life Guernica travelled to South America and European cities and spent years in New York. It is huge and it’s condition delicate so it no longer travels. The Musée Picasso Paris presents a great show of the genesis of this work and included an excellent facsimile of the original. This gives the work context for we the viewing public now divorced in time from the politics and the horrors of the Spanish Civil War. The accompanying works were well chosen to inform and enlighten us on Picasso’s motifs and iconography. The wall texts were well developed yet to the point. I also used an audio guide and found it to be excellent. In the end I did not spend a lot of time in the rest of the museum. I had had the opportunity to see the works of other artists Picasso collected and kept in his studio when they were lent to the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in Brisbane Australia. (Thank you Musée Picasso for allowing these treasures to travel to Australia. We really appreciated seeing them.) Here in Paris I greatly enjoyed being re-acquainted with them.”

“Awesome tattoo shop! The artists are so talented, friendly, and speak great English. My husband and I just got tattooed there and our artists were so patient with us. We are on vacation, so we had our daughter with us (who was fussy) and they were so patient and understanding. Ezer, did a wonderful job on my tattoo (I love it!) Even though I was very squirmy and needed breaks pretty frequently. We highly recommend this tattoo shop. Clean, and amazing work.”

“The rooms are wonderful and each one has a Paris theme. My husband and I had the Eiffel Tower room with an amazing rain shower. But what made this hotel so spectacular was the service. Everyone was so kind and accomodating. There were constant smiles and always a willingness to help, even when our car service didn't show up on time and we were checked out. We will definitely come back!”

“This hotel is in an excellent location. The staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast is good and it is replenished regularly. If something is not there, just ask.... If you drink alcohol and want a bar/mini bar be aware this hotel does not cater for this. Your mini fridge in your room is all soft drinks and this is replenished everyday. Bedrooms are big enough and the bathroom/shower are fab, although our extractor did not appear to work: however this is a small fault. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel and re-book if I come back to Paris.”

“Wow, an amazing hotel with fantastic staff! We stayed here for our anniversary, and I was not disappointed. The hotel was first class, extremely clean and very arty with loads of character. All the staff clearly take pride in working here, and were more than willing to do everything they could to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Once told it was our anniversary, they pulled out all the stops to help me surprise my wife with a little something special. Can't wait to return - highly recommended. We stayed in the executive room, as rooms in Paris can be quite small. Our room was perfect, and even had a little balcony.”

“If I could give La Reserve more than 5 stars I would. Truly fabulous experience from start to finish. The staff go above and beyond to make the guests feel warm and welcome. The amenities the hotel offers are outstanding. Don’t miss the pool, gym and spa, a wonderful treat. Located right in the heart of Paris, my only regret is that I didn’t stay longer. I’m already planning my return. Thank you La Reserve, Paris at its finest.”

“Hotel Fabric was the absolute perfect hotel for our mother & daughter first trip to Paris. We stayed for almost a week and couldn’t have been more delighted with everything about this boutique hotel. It is about a 45 minute Metro ride to the tourist spots from the hotel but that is one of the things we loved. It’s location allowed us a quiet relaxing setting in an authentic Paris neighborhood for our evenings. The food options within walking distance of the hotel are excellent. The quality of the hotel furnishings are excellent, the bed and shower were heavenly! And the AC was so much appreciated! I also can’t speak highly enough about the staff. They will attend to your every need and are so hospitable. Absolutely loved our stay here!!!”
