Cet article analyse les conceptions d’enseignants et futurs enseignants sur l’éducation à la sexualité dans les trois pays du Maghreb: Tunisie, Algérie, Maroc. Un questionnaire, construit et validé dans le cadre du projet de recherche européen BIOHEAD-Citizen, a été rempli par 1306 enseignants et futurs enseignants de ces trois pays. Des analyses multivariées ont permis d’identifier des différences entre les trois pays, ainsi que certaines convergences, et d’établir des liens entre les conceptions des enseignants sur l’éducation à la sexualité, et leurs opinions religieuses ou politiques. …
Based on interviews with more than 50 LGBT students and former students in fourteen prefectures throughout Japan—as well as teachers, officials, and academic experts—this report documents bullying, harassment, and discrimination in Japanese schools based on sexual orientation and gender identity or expression, and the poor record of schools when it comes to appropriately responding to and preventing such incidents.
On 3 November 2015, a joint dialogue on sexual orientation and gender identity was held between the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (African Commission or ACHPR), Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (Inter-American Commission or IACHR), and United Nations (UN) human rights mechanisms in Banjul, The Gambia, ahead of the 57th ordinary session of the African Commission. The bullying of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth in schools is a significant problem in the United States. This study examined responses of youth participants at a statewide Safe Schools Summit to a survey of their experiences with school-based violence, harassment, and discrimination, and of the effects of their attendance at the Summit. Quantitative analyses found that 92% of respondents felt "more empowered" following participation in the Summit. …
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students continue to report more often than their heterosexual peers, through repeated studies (Kosciw, et al, 2010), a much higher incidence of experiencing bullying and harassment in schools. These students also reported a higher degree of isolation and few role models in schools.
