My insomnia has kicked in so I have decided to catch up on some reading. This is a great memoir, I read it about 6 years ago. I had a lot of hope that kept being destroyed throughout the book. I still haven't learnt to this day.

Polish Political prisoner number 721. This is all the information we have, his number, his photo and that he arrived to Auschwitz on the first mass transport on the 14th of June 1940. We have no name, no DOB, no birth place, nothing, just another number.

Visited in 1991 and in later years.I took pictures in a manor that it could be seen by my students. Now I am a educator & with the help of the taken pictures I tell the story. Their visit should be one of remembrance and respect, not just a museum visit.

I dont want you to be in Israel in January Vladimir. After the elections, Israel will have major security issues and it's an unnecessary risk for you. You've been to Israel. Whoever wants to celebrate the big 75 of the liberation of should come to Russia. PERIOD.

This picture is one of the reasons I prefer nature and wildlife over a lot of humans. What goes through the minds of these 'Me,Me,Me' people. Complete lack of judgement and no respect.
