Description
El paisaje predominante es la selva densa donde sobresalen escarpadas moles rocosas correspondientes an conjunto orografico de la Serrania del Chiribiquete, que forma una serie de mesas y cerros tubulares llamados Tepuyes. Algunos alcanzan una altura de 1000 metros. Se reconocen formaciones vegetales que abarcan desde la selva humeda hasta vegetatcion raquitica sobre las moles rocosas. Adicionalmente sobre las margenes de algunos rios aparece vegetacion tipica de zonas inundables. La fauna presente en la zona no ha sido totalmente estudiada.
