Culture in development programmes

Experts from the UNESCO/EU Expert Facility and representatives from beneficiary countries who received technical assistance (2011-2015) to implement the 2005 Convention will share their experience on the missions, to measure the results and impacts of the project on the systems of governance of culture and on the strengthening of human and institutional capacities in the field of public policies for the cultural and creative industries. The seminar will be followed by a high-level panel on Culture and Development, with the participation of Ms Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO and Mr Neven Mimica, European Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development.
