Fully supported by the Melbourne UNESCO City of Literature Office, the LoveOzYA website is designed to further connect communities by promoting a united message, centralising information, encouraging free-flowing discussion and raising the profile of Australian litterary content.
Aimed at all actors of Australian youth literature, the LoveOzYA website was launched this March by the city of Melbourne to harness and highlight the discussions around the young adult (YA) fiction in Australia and by doing so, promote local content to local readers as well as the ‘Read Local’ ethos of LoveOzYA. As all important conversations do nowadays, this movement began online, and has rapidly garnered the attention of writers, readers, publishers, booksellers and so many more invested in the national youth literature.
