Why?
The benefits of early childhood development are widely acknowledged and are key to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Yet, at least 175 million children lack access to early childhood education (ECE). To ensure that all children have access to ECE will require governments to plan for and implement quality ECE programs as part of their national education sector plans.
Who is it for?
Professionals from ministries of education and their partners in low- and middle-income countries who want to improve early learning and achieve better education outcomes.
How?
Participants will learn fundamental concepts and key planning tools and processes from top experts to integrate pre-primary policies in national education sector plans. Participants will join a global community of practice where they can interact with each other and share best practices on strengthening ECE.
Participants will receive a IIEP/UNESCO/UNICEF/GPE certificate upon successful completion of the course.
