Dorian Gay works in the IIEP Director’s Office as Executive Officer. He is also involved in technical assistance projects.
In the Director’s office, Dorian contributes to the strategic planning of IIEP and to the quarterly and yearly monitoring of IIEP’s programme implementation, including to its Governing Board. This position also entails liaising with IIEP’s numerous partners and stakeholders.
In this, Dorian relies on over twelve years of technical cooperation experience working directly with Ministries of Education of Member States. His areas of specialty are the development of education sector plans, support to the creation and/or development of national training institutions (in educational planning and management) and the assessment of capacities.
As most IIEP professional staff Dorian is involved in training activities, on the Advanced Training Programme and country-specific courses.
Prior to joining IIEP in 2003, he worked at the UNESCO Headquarters on similar issues.
