UNESCO Almaty presents the out of competition program of documentary films “Women in cinema” on the Almaty Film Festival, which will take place in Almaty on 14-20 September 2019.
The program of films “Women in cinema” will present documentary films made by women directors or focused on women personality. The best film in this program will be awarded a recognition prize from UNESCO. As a part of cooperation with Almaty Film Festival, UNESCO representatives will take part in the business events of the film festival (round panels / discussions).Learn more about the program.
Almaty Film Festival is a new international film festival initiated and supported by the Almaty Government. The Festival will be held from 14-20 September 2019 in Almaty (Kazakhstan). The purpose of Almaty Film Festival is the development of Kazakh film industry, the increase of the interest of the broad public in film art and the strengthening of international cooperation.
