Crisis-sensitive education sector planning, Gender, Capacity development, Strengthening educational administrations

Ms. Anna Seeger is a Programme Specialist in IIEP’s Technical Cooperation team. Anna’s main area of work is crisis-sensitive planning in the education sector, including planning for displaced populations. This includes technical support to the preparation of crisis-sensitive Education Sector Plans and operational planning. In collaboration with ministries of education and researchers, she also conducts Institutional Analyses and develops capacity development plans that aim at strengthening educational administrations. 

She also teaches at IIEP’s Advanced Training Program (ATP) and supports online and face-to-face training programmes in educational planning for ministry of education and partner staff. 

Anna joined IIEP in 2015 after several assignments with the German Cooperation for International Development (GIZ), the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) and as an independent consultant.

She lived and worked in Yemen, Pakistan, Lebanon and Nepal and has travelled extensively in Sub-Sahara Africa.
