نظم مكتب اليونسكو في ليبيا هذا العام مائدة مستديرة بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لحرية الصحافة تحت شعار (المرأة، الإعلام والسلام) وذلك بمشاركة قسم تمكين المرأة في بعثة الأمم المتحدة في ليبيا.
وشارك المبعوث الخاص بحرية الرأي والتعبير في الأمم المتحدة، ديفيد كاي، الصحفيين الليبيين يومهم هذا، وقام بتسليط الضوء على التفاعل بين هذه الموضوعات جميعا في سياق الصراع الدائر حاليا في ليبيا.
