6 Korean Creative Cities have met in Bucheon to exchange on culture and creativity

On 17 October, Bucheon, Creative City of Literature, organized a workshop dedicated to the Korean Creative Cities, in cooperation with the Korean National Commission for UNESCO. 

The representatives of  the six  Korean member cities of Bucheon (Literature), Busan (Film), Daegu(Music), Gwangju (Media Arts), Jeonju (Gastronomy), Tongyeong (Music) exchanged on how to use UNESCO brand to strengthen cooperation at the national level. Moreover, a special session was organized for Korean candidate cities to help them in improving their vision and strategy in line with the UCCN objectives.

This Korean national sub-network workshop has served comprehensive platform to share cities’ challenges and exchange with experts of cultural and urban fields to better capitalize the opportunities offered by the Network through the consolidation of relations among Korean cities and the promotion of new activities.
