Cape Town to Host 2019 Open Design Afrika Festival

Cape Town to Host 2019 Open Design Afrika Festival

When:
Fri, 10/18/2019 to Sun, 10/27/2019

From 18 to 27 October 2019, a new edition of the Open Design Afrika will be held in Cape Town (South Africa), a UNESCO Creative City of Design. This festival focuses on innovation, education and community as the building blocks of a sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous society. At ODA Festival we are invited to experience why creativity is the unifying thread that links the building blocks and solutions that can greatly contribute to the wellbeing and skills development of the Afrikan people and the design of thriving circular economies. The festival programme is curated to feature events and experiences that are relevant for people from all walks of life who want to learn new skills and more about the possibilities and opportunities to get involved and help drive change in society and diverse communities. Since its inception in 2013 Open Design has supported and showcased more than 300 small, medium and micro-enterprises.
