Rosa Vidarte

Research Officer

Rosa Vidarte joined UNESCO as a Research Officer for the Global Education Monitoring Report (GEM). Before UNESCO, Rosa worked at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. in research about labor markets and gender in Africa. Previously, she was a Research Fellow at the Research Department of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington, D.C. where she worked mainly in impact evaluation of social programs using randomized controlled trials. In Peru, she worked at the Group for the Analysis of Development (GRADE) in the areas of Health, Nutrition, Poverty and Equity and Impact Evaluation of Social Programs. Rosa holds an MPA from Princeton University with specialization in Economics and Public Policy and a B.A. in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
