Cacau e chocolate no Brasil: desafios na produção e comércio global

The Ministry of Industry, External Trade and Services, in cooperation with UNESCO in Brazil, has published this study with the objective of assessing the challenges faced by Brazil to achieve a better and greater space in both world production and trade of cocoa and chocolate, focusing on competitiveness and productive chain. The study also intended to present a national and global scenario of supply and consumption trends; to consolidate information on the supply chain of fine cocoa in Brazil; to demonstrate the economic, social and environmental sustainability of cocoa production; and to calculate the GDP of the cocoa and chocolate production chain.
