UNESCO and partners will host major cultural events in Brazil in 2020

Rio de Janeiro and Santos will host, respectively, the 27th World Congress of Architects (UIA2020RIO) and the annual Conference of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network

Professionals from around the world who are active in the cultural sector will come to Brazil to attend major events scheduled for 2020. Rio de Janeiro will host the 27th World Congress of Architects (UIA2020RIO), from July 19 to 23. The city was also designated as the 1st World Capital of Architecture, by agreement between the International Union of Architects (UIA) and UNESCO, and will be the site of several actions on the theme throughout the year.
