Inclusive Education

The struggle for an inclusive and quality education is based on everyone´s right to receive an education that promotes lifelong learning. Quality education requires giving attention to marginalized and vulnerable groups and seeks ways to develop its potential.

The 2030 education agenda places special focus on the elimination of gender disparities and equal access to all levels of education. This new framework considers the construction and adaptation of educational facilities taking into account people with disabilities and gender differences.

UNESCO works to end all forms of discrimination, promote social cohesion and inclusive education through research, technical advice on public policies and dissemination of good practices.
