UNESCO Montevideo, together with the National Secretariat of Culture of Paraguay, the Regional Center for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Latin America (CRESPIAL), and with the support of the Network of Academic Cooperation in Intangible Cultural Heritage for Latin America and the Caribbean (ReCA PCI LAC), organize this event which focuses on the intersectoral nature of intangible cultural heritage and the strengthening of capacities in intangible cultural heritage within the country.

The conferences are opened to the public in these two days. More than twenty experts from the region will discuss in five panels about the possibilities of working in Intangible Cultural Heritage in the sectors of agriculture, education, tourism, creative industries and on the role of youth in the promotion and work in intangible heritage.
