5th Meeting of the Parties to the Second Protocol of 1999 to the Hague Convention

UNESCO Headquarters, Room XI, Paris, France, 16 December (15:00-18:00)-17 December 2013

The main purposes of this meeting are:

  • to consider the report by the Chairperson of the Committee to the Meeting;
  • to elect six members of the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict;
  • to endorse amendments to the Guidelines for the Implementation of the Second Protocol to the Hague Convention;
  • to consider a fundraising strategy for the Fund for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict;
  • to consider the report on the implementation of the strategy for encouraging ratifications of the Second Protocol to the 1954 Hague Convention.
