8th Meeting of the Parties to the Second Protocol of 1999 to the Hague Convention

Among other topics, the main purposes of this meeting are:

  • to consider the report by the Chairperson of the Committee to the Meeting;
  • to elect six members of the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict;
  • to approve amendments to the Guidelines for the Implementation of the Second Protocol to the Hague Convention: Internationale assistance;
  • to approve amendments to the Guidelines related to procedural aspects of the submission of requests for international or other categories of assistance from the Fund;

  •  to consider the equitable distribution of seats in the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict
