A highlight of the launch was a seminar by Dr. Meltzoff of the Institute of Learning & Brain Sciences, University of Washington, entitled “How Brain Development and Cultural Stereotypes Influence Our Children”. The seminar, only one of the many planned, aligns well with the first theme of the recently launched IBE Knowledge Brokerage Initiative: The Neuroscience of Learning and its implications for policy and practice.

International Geneva was also invited to participate in the seminar.
