Approval by Norway of the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education (Paris, 25 November 2019)

On 8 June 2020, Norway deposited with the Director-General its instrument of approval of the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education. Norway is thus the first State to express its consent to be bound by the Convention.

In accordance with the terms of its Article XVIII, the Convention shall enter into force three months after the date of deposit of the twentieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval, or accession, but only with regard to those States Parties which have deposited their respective instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval, or accession on or before that date.
