Call for application: Online youth dialogue on “Ethics of Artificial Intelligence” (7-9 July 2020)

With reference to the first global standard-setting instrument on ethics of artificial intelligence, following the decision of UNESCO’s General Conference at its 40th session in November 2019, UNESCO Beirut will organize, in coordination with UNESCO Cairo and Rabat Offices, a series of 3 online consultation sessions targeting Arab youth (15-24 years) to collect their feedbacks and suggestions to the preliminary text prepared based on the study completed by UNESCO’s World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (COMEST).

Three online sessions are scheduled as below:

  • A session in English: 7 July, 11 am – 2 pm  (Beirut time)
  • A session in Arabic: 8 July 11 am -2 pm (Beirut time)
  • A session in French: 9 July 11 am -2 pm (Beirut time)

Interested candidates (aged between 15-24 years) should register by sending the filled form below no later than 3 July 2020 to Ms Zuha Helou (z.helou@unesco.org). The online meeting link will be directly communicated to the confirmed participants.
