Complex of the tomb of the King Tu Duc

Tu Duc's reign began in 1848 and ended in 1883. The king attached considerable importance to the construction of his final residence and the buildings and gardens around it. The many buildings it comprises blend into the vegetation and the numerous pools and basins, and are in perfect harmony with their environment.
