Promoting Good Practices in Vocational Training

In the area of vocational training, a good practice could be defined as an activity implemented in the context of a reform or a national policy, that was piloted and adapted, and that enables to highlight the options to improve a process or a system, according to a project-based approach.

More briefly, it is an activity that works and that has demonstrated its success, through credible appraisals or testimonies.

A good practice complies with the following specific criteria:

  • Replicability (at different levels);
  • Applicability;
  • Relevance to the area; and
  • Effectiveness of the approach.

In collaboration with participants, PEFOP will gradually share the experiences it deems relevant and promising to stimulate a flow of good practices that provide responses to the issues faced by vocational training players in Africa.
