ACQUIRING AND SHARING PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE ON EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN AFRICA

IIEP-PÔLE DE DAKAR DEVELOPS METHODOLOGICAL TOOLS, GENERATES KNOWLEDGE, AND DISSEMINATES EXPERIENCES AND GOOD PRACTICES IN THE FIELDS OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN AFRICA.

DEVELOPMENT OF METHODOLOGICAL TOOLS

The methodologies developed by IIEP-Pôle de Dakar help partners understand the challenges and opportunities education systems face, as well as to strengthen the capacities of national stakeholders. Such is the case for the education sector analysis methodological guidelines that help countries improve education and training policies and plans.

PUBLICATION OF THEMATIC RESEARCH

Studies are produced on topics of direct relevance to education policy, such as sector financing, youth employment, teacher allocation. IIEP-Pôle de Dakar collaborates with development partners and higher education institutions with expertise on the African continent.

SHARING EXPERIENCES AND GOOD PRACTICES

IIEP-Pôle de Dakar convenes key African education and training stakeholders to share and capitalize on experiences and good practices around priority issues for the continent. Our experience in networking and event management enables countries to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 4 by sharing existing tools and identifying mechanisms that best fit their individual contexts. IIEP-Pôle de Dakar developed the PEFOP web portal to support stakeholders involved in reforming vocational training systems, creating a community of practice with access to online tools.
