Heritage Clinic:  Emerging challenges, new responses - Open call for your entries to the UNESCO Heritage Clinic!

Are you a heritage enthusiast, young professional or a current student in conservation? This one is for you. 

We are looking for heritage projects of young professionals and current students to be featured during the 20th year celebration event of the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation in Penang, Malaysia this October. 

From 14 – 17 Oct 2019, the Awards Jury members and winners, practitioners, organizations and universities, local governments and private sector stakeholders in heritage and urban issues will join forces in Penang to seek new responses to emerging challenges. 

Your project can be in any size and form. Just demonstrate how the project have promoted heritage conservation through your initiative. Your responses can be technical, social or spatial, or what not? We would also like to hear from you the challenges you are facing – please be as specific as possible. 

Share with us your projects and earn your chance to present your work to the experts and stakeholders in heritage. A session on 14 Oct 2019 will be devoted to exchanging ideas between you and the experts. 

Nine projects will be selected to be part of this Heritage Clinic Session. 

Two project submitters will receive a travel grant to attend the event.
