Teacher training for learning to live together: a training manual for EIU and ESD

This manual is composed of an introductory part which explains the thematic shift and the recent updates in the discourses related to Education for International Understanding (EIU), outlines a pedagogical exploration that EIU is currently driving, and provides an interlinking exploration between EIU and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). The introduction is followed by an updated guide to recommendable modules, and a collection of activities to match with each module. This manual is primarily targeted at teacher educators and trainers of formal or non-formal / informal education. However, the introductory chapters and some modules may be inspiring for school teachers who want to study on their own and adopt some material towards pupils in primary or secondary school.
