The guide provides practical advice on how to organize interactive lessons on health and relationships within Basics of Health obligatory curriculum for grades 8-9 in Ukraine.
The recommendations are designed to help teachers deliver learner-centered and interactive lessons to facilitate positive self-perception, effective communication and decision making skills necessary for responsible sexual behavior and protection of reproductive health, prevention of violence in relationships.
The guide was developed by the Women’s Health and Family Planning Charitable Foundation with the support of the Danish Family Planning Association (DFPA) and published in collaboration with the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE).
