Octava reunión de la Asamblea General

La octava reunión de la Asamblea General de los Estados Partes en la Convención para la Salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial (prevista inicialmente para los días 25, 26 y 27 de agosto) ha sido reprogramada debido a la actual pandemia de COVID-19 y se celebrará del 8 al 10 de septiembre de 2020 (en la Sede de la UNESCO, situada en París).
Durante tres días, 178 Estados Partes debatirán sobre temas de gran importancia para la salvaguardia del patrimonio vivo en todo el mundo. Los participantes deberán registrarse en línea antes del 28 de agosto de 2020. Debido a las restricciones de aforo (dos personas por delegación simultáneamente en la sala I y un número limitado de observadores en la entreplanta), no se podrá garantizar el acceso a las salas de reuniones a quienes no se hayan registrado en el plazo establecido.
Se ofrecerán retransmisiones de audio en una sala contigua y los debates se emitirán en directo a través de esta página web.
Durante la reunión, se pedirá a los participantes que respeten las prácticas de distanciamiento físico y las medidas sanitarias (en particular el uso de mascarilla), en consonancia con las normas del país anfitrión y las indicaciones de la UNESCO. Todos los participantes recibirán información detallada sobre estas medidas antes de la reunión.
