International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) in collaboration with its partners around the world launches the first Global Doctoral Consortium (GDC), a virtual network and knowledge hub initiated to support doctoral students in the field of online, open, flexible and technology-enhanced learning.
The physical meetings of the participants with the leading scholars will be organized during the 2017 ICDE World Conference on 17-19 October 2017 in Toronto, Canada.
The first virtual activities of the GDC (knowledge sharing, webinars and facilitating collaboration) will be held in autumn 2016.
