“UN in Russia” Bulletin №1 (January-March 2020)

News of UN agencies and organizations for the period from January to March 2020 are available in the first issue of the “UN in Russia” Bulletin.

This issue features an article about resources for supporting education in the context of COVID-19. In particular, these resources are available on a new online platform Combat COVID-19: Keep learning, launched by UNESCO IITE. Among these materials – the free crash course “Be an Online Tutor in 24 Hours”, designed by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), the Russian version of the course was produced with the help of UNESCO IITE to be used by educators in CIS countries. The article also includes the information about Teach From Home, launched by the Google for Education team in partnership with UNESCO IITE to help teachers in different parts of the world affected by the COVID-19 crisis to maintain the education process through online teaching and learning.

In addition, the Bulletin has an article about a new mobile application for teens and young people about relationships, love and health – LoveLogs: Relationships Diary. LoveLogs is an edutainment project that enables users to generate and keep a diary of their relationships.

The e-version of the first number of the Bulletin (2020) is available in Russian language with a summary in English.
