La Junta Asesora

La Junta Asesora del Informe de Seguimiento de la Educación en el Mundo se compone de representantes de los organismos multilaterales de las Naciones Unidas, las entidades bilaterales, las organizaciones no gubernamentales, las agrupaciones y redes de la sociedad civil, los directores de los institutos de educación de la UNESCO y los particulares de los países en desarrollo de todas las regiones del mundo que tienen competencias en asuntos educativos. La Junta se reúne una vez al año para proporcionar orientación y aportes al equipo encargado del Informe. Los temas de análisis abarcan desde las líneas maestras de las próximas ediciones hasta el desarrollo general del Informe, sus temas futuros y sus estrategias de comunicación.

La composición de la Junta refleja la propiedad conjunta del Informe GEM y el compromiso de hacer de la promoción de la educación para todos una empresa ampliamente compartida.
