Construction of Community Based Early Childhood Care and Education (CB ECCE) Centres in Kasulu, Sengerema, Ngorongoro and Mkoani districts

02/10/2020
Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania
04 - Quality Education
05 - Gender Equality

Within the framework of the implementation of the UN Joint project on ‘Empowering adolescent girls and young women through education in Tanzania’, UNESCO Dar es Salaam intends to construct Community Based ECD pilot models.

This is in line with the recently launched Responsible Parenting and Family Care Agenda in Tanzania (RPFC), that encourages reaching out to communities by strengthening delivery of ECCE services and responds to the evidence that community-based ECCE/ECD reaches the marginalized groups of children (who constitute more than 46% of the population in Tanzania) in particular to increase access to quality early childhood development.

In this regard, quotations are requested from qualified companies registered in Tanzania to construct the models in Kasulu, Sengerema, Ngorongoro and Mkoani districts.

Note: One organisation can send quotation for only one district.

The deadline for application is 18th October 2020.
