Building peace in the minds of men and women

How to become an official partner of UNESCO?

Requests are processed through an internal evaluation with consultation of all concerned sectors and services of UNESCO. The result of this evaluation is submitted to the Director-General of UNESCO who decides on the establishment of consultative partnership with UNESCO.

Requests for partnership may be submitted at any time by NGOs to the Director-General, together with the application form, duly filled in, and complete documentation concerning the NGO (7 Place de Fontenoy, 75732 Paris Cedex 7SP, France). The brochure 'Becoming an NGO, official partner of UNESCO’ gives you all the necessary details to help you determine if your NGO may submit a request for partnership.

Please read the brochure and the application form carefully.
