Hannover, a UNESCO Creative City of Music in Germany launched ‘hell:wach’, a 29-hour-classical music-marathon led by the city-based orchestra called ‘Orchester im Treppenhaus’ (stair-case orchestra).
Muharraq (Bahrain), a UNESCO Creative City of Design since 2019 has set up an online photography exhibition titled 'Inspired by Muharraq'. The exhibition aims to highlight the architectural scenes and skyline of the city, which has undergone a series of changes, including upgrades and restorations, giving the audience the opportunity to engage with a wealth of inspiring material.
Macao SAR, designated as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy in 2017, contributed to the worldwide celebration of Sustainable Gastronomy Day (18 June) by producing a special video displaying Macao’s unique gastronomic culture, recipes and culinary arts.
The celebration is in line with the city’s endeavor to foster preservation of gastronomic culture and contribute to the sustainable development of Macao’s tourism industry, while progressing towards the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Östersund, a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, and the region of Jämtland Härjedalen in Sweden, will organize virtually the 4th edition of the Eat Art Festival from June 1st to 15th. The festival is a regional cross-cultural food event dedicated to sustainable food development in a cultural and creative context. It also marks the celebration of Östersund's 10 years of dedicated work as an UNESCO Creative City since 2010.
