Examination of proposals for selection in 2018 on the Register (item 10.c on the agenda)

Below are the proposals to be examined by the Committee for possible selection in 2018 as programmes, projects and activities that best reflect the Convention’s principles and objectives, in accordance with the procedures established in the Operational Directives for the implementation of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Each nomination includes a proposal form ICH-03, ten photos and a short video.

The recommendations of the Subsidiary Body for the inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity will be available in document ITH/18/13.COM/10.c.

The designations employed and the presentation in the texts and documents submitted by States Parties do not imply the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of UNESCO concerning the legal status of any country, territory, city or area or of its authorities or concerning the delimitation of its frontiers or boundaries.
