Ms Velika Stojkova Serafimovska

An ethnomusicologist and ICH expert, teacher and a researcher at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius”, Institute for folklore “Marko Cepenkov” in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. PhD in Folkloristic with research focused on sociological and anthropological perspectives on transitional processes in popular and traditional music and ICH in general. She has published widely on these topics in various multi-authored volumes and is involved with projects that protect and promote intangible cultural heritage in and of the Republic of Macedonia.

Associate Professor at University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” – Skopje, Faculty of Music Art, courses on “Traditional singing”, “World music folklore” and “Ethnomusicology”
