Lifelong Learning

The Lifelong Learning Policies and Strategies programme advocates and advances lifelong learning as the conceptual framework and organizing principle for education reforms in the twenty-first century. It supports Member States in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of lifelong learning policies and strategies.

The programme has three main fields of intervention for Member States:

  • Conducting policy research and analysis
  • Providing technical assistance and capacity-building activities
  • Supporting policy dialogue and networking on national, regional and international levels
