Today we are living in a world where many of us are both more isolated from each other physically and more connected virtually at the same time. Sadly it is not possible for our official and unofficial meetings to be on the agenda right now. But, we are with you and supporting you through all the technological means we have while acknowledging our concern about the role they play in our daily lives. Thus, we wish to embark on a journey with you through these uncertain times using innovation, discovery and inspiration to bring you online initiatives and activities that you can participate in at your respective schools.

We dedicate this visionary page to the calls for participation and contribution of our partners who continue to work to build more resilient, united and sustainable societies.

Call for participation

"Conversations with the Little Prince" is a writing contest to create one's own conversation with the Little Prince of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's novel about the planet today where the pandemic threatens children, schools and families. It is an initiative jointly led by #LearningPlanet in partnership with UNESCO, the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation (FASEJ) and the Stories Labo, inspired by the most translated work of French literature in the world. The Week of Sound Association, officially a partner of UNESCO, is organizing a short film contest "When Sound Creates Images!"

For the first time, as part of UNESCO's Week of Sound, we invite members of the Associated Schools network to participate in the contest to make a short film based on a soundtrack created by the French composer Philippe Rombi. Since 2018, UNESCO has celebrated this week by promoting best practices relating to sound in all areas of life from early childhood. Join online discussions

Creatinga Better World for Future Generations will explore how humanity can re-examine our ways of living and being and discuss what kind of life we want to live and what kind of future society we want to create. The event will feature a talk session with the 2020 Goi Peace Award Laureate, Dr. Jacques Attali, and voices of youth from the 2020 International Essay Contest for Young People. The event will be livestreamed via YouTube

The World We Want, Time for Change - At a critical time for humanity and the planet, the Young Activists Summit will bring together seven young figures who are advancing climate action, biodiversity, human rights, sustainable and ethical fashion.
