Singapore, a UNESCO Creative City of Design will organize the second edition of the Design Education Summit on 4 February 2021.

Organized in conjunction with the SUTD-MIT International Design Centre (IDC), the DesignSingapore Council aims to support educators and design professionals to learn, network and co-develop ideas about the integration of design in education.

The exchange platform is also a part of the Design Industry Manpower Plan, an overarching talent development plan that cuts across the learning continuum, starting from building awareness and nurturing mindsets in the young, to skills development and deepening abilities.

In this context, a Call for Stories on the Transformation of Education through Design was launched to invite educators and students to share and celebrate their stories of using Design.

Selected educators and students will be given an opportunity to present and share their work at the Design Education Summit in 2021. Although the call for stories for this Summit has now closed, educators and students, in both public and private education institutes from across the world are welcomed to still share their creative stories.
