Jaipur invited to "Writing Our Melbourne”

Jaipur invited to "Writing Our Melbourne”

When:
Fri, 01/27/2017

On 11-12 February, “Writing Our Melbourne” will showcase the work of three expatriate Indian authors and their conceptions of their city, as part of the Jaipur Literature Festival Melbourne. The festival, in itself a collaboration between the Jaipur Literature Festival and the Melbourne Writers Festivals, will explore the unique links between the two Creative Cities, their countries and people.

Commissioned specially for the Festival by Melbourne UNESCO City of Literature, “Writing Our Melbourne” is an immersive storytelling experience, where the authors engage with cityscapes and the public in responding to the question, “What makes my city?”

Federation Square – the main site of the Festival – is where the stories begin, before branching-off to dozens of locations around the city.
