    Ratification par l’Azerbaïdjan de la Convention concernant les échanges internationaux de publications (Paris, 3 décembre 1958)

    Le 7 août 2020, l’Azerbaïdjan a déposé auprès de la Directrice générale son instrument de ratification de la Convention concernant les échanges internationaux de publications.

    L’instrument était accompagné de la suivante déclaration:

    “The Republic of Azerbaijan declares that the provisions of the Convention concerning the International Exchange of Publications shall not be applied by the Republic of Azerbaijan in respect of the Republic of Armenia.
    The Republic of Azerbaijan declares that it does not guarantee the implementation of the provisions of the Convention concerning the International Exchange of Publications in its territories occupied by the Republic of Armenia (the Nagorno-Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan and its seven districts surrounding that region), until the liberation of those territories from the occupation and complete elimination of the consequences of that occupation (the schematic map of the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan is enclosed*)”     [Original: anglais]

    Conformément aux dispositions de son article 19, la Convention entrera en vigueur à l’égard de l’Azerbaïdjan douze mois après le dépôt de cet instrument de ratification, soit le 7 août 2021.
