Ms Paritta Chalermpow Koanantakool

Ms. Paritta Chalermpow Koanantakool (PhD) is a retired social anthropologist who previously taught in the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat University, Bangkok, and director of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre. From 2002-2010 she led a team of researchers to study and build capacity for local and community-based museums in Thailand, and initiated a field school programme for museums and intangible cultural heritage.
