Grinding or milling songs in India

The living heritage that we are currently researching and trying to document are the grinding or milling songs, songs sung at the grinding stone. Communication with the storytellers is almost impossible as they are not on the phone or any device and distances are between 50-100 kms between us and them. However, there are some support groups that are in touch with individual storytellers. We do know that they are singing the same songs at the grinding stone as they did earlier. However, we do not know if any confinement/quarantine related songs will emerge in the near future. Our guess is, that they will !
