A vision in our heritage through Minecraft, Agrupamento de Escolas da Batalha
This interdisciplinary and cross-year project was aimed to create a digital tool that might help new audiences to interact with the Monastery of Batalha, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage - especially youngsters that might be more motivated through digital approaches.
Students recreated the Monastery of Batalha in the computer game Minecraft and integrated learning quests inside the building, so that visitors might learn interesting facts and test their knowledge about the World Heritage site.
